This was my thought - while I'd like to book Haven, I have know way of knowing whether the pricing will work for me until I am ready to book. The big difference seems to be that if you buy the Haven certificate, you can use that as the sole deposit rather than make up the difference at the time of booking. I think if you are combining certificates for a suite deposit on Haven, you would still have to put down an additional $1000 (for a total deposit of $1500) at booking. But I agree, it's probably not worth the gamble since I don't know what I will book, so I will likely just purchase the regular certificates.
